In 2017, Responsible Gambling Awareness Week took place between 23 and 29 October.
Responsible gambling happens on three levels, the individual level, the group or organisation level and the community level.
At an individual level, responsible gambling is about knowing how to gamble responsibly.
Responsible Gambling Awareness Week in 2017 focused on engagement with the community.
The foundation and our partners held almost 40 events around Victoria during Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 23—29 October to increase awareness of, and generate discussion about, how to gamble responsibly.
As in 2016, the theme was consistent with the Keep it well played campaign.
This included promoting tips for responsible gambling that encourage positive behaviours and avoid negativity, problem gambling awareness week 2018 providing a range of printed and problem gambling awareness week 2018 campaign materials to stakeholders to use during the week.
Premier cricket clubs throughout Victoria also participated in a Love the Game round.
